Photoelectric Computing Station (also known as the East China Research on electronic measurement photoelectric measurement and calibration center, referred to as a optoelectron station), founded in 1987, is an optoelectronic measurement technology institution, relying on the 41st Research Institute of China Electronic Technology Group Corporation. In 2006, it got administrative permission by the primary measurement technology institution, and in 2007 was renamed "optoelectronic primary measurement station."

On April 2003, the optoelectron primary station under the name of East China Research on electronic measurement photoelectric measurement and calibration center was approved by the National Laboratory Accreditation Committee. Accreditation certificate number is No. CNAS L0546; in July 2004, it was approved by the National Defense Science and Technology Industry Calibration Laboratory Accreditation committee. The certificate number is No. DL008; in April 2005, it was approved by the military calibration laboratory organized by the assembly. The certificate number is [2009-36].
The optoelectron primary station respectively has more than 2 thousand and 500 square meters of laboratory in Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shandong Province and Bengbu High-tech zone, Anhui Province. Of which, the area of professional laboratory with temperature and humidity control, anti salt, anti vibration, electromagnetic shielding, light shielding is more than 1 thousand and 500 square meters; the number of existing professional technical personnel is 55, senior engineers 3, staff with senior technical titles 15, and engineers 20.
The optoelectron primary station consists of five optoelectronic specialties: optoelectronic detector (including UV and IR detectors, focal plane array device, optical CCD), optical fiber and optical devices, optical display, optical and optoelectronic integrated system, parameter measurement and three radio and electrical specialties: microwave, communication, basic instrument measurement. More than 30 sets of Defense highest optoelectronic measurement standards and calibration devices have been established as well as 20 sets of the regional highest metrological standards and testing system in the fields of radio, electromagnetic, time and frequency.
